I grew up in Blue Ridge, GA, in the North Georgia mountains. After graduating from high school and spending two years in the U. S. Navy, I attended the University of Georgia and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. After graduating from college, I entered the commercial art field where I worked for thirty-seven years.
I enjoy working in three mediums–oils, watercolors and pastels–doing landscapes, flowers and still-life paintings. My inspiration comes from the beauty displayed in God’s creation of a beautiful sunset, flower or landscape.
I also teach watercolor workshops in Thomaston and have had several one-man shows at Callaway Gardens and in Thomaston.
I work in my home studio in Thomaston, GA. My wife, Barbara, and I have three married children and seven grandchildren. We are members of the First Baptist Church in Thomaston where we are active in the music ministry and other ministries of our church.
I also have a video that I would like for you to watch. It is on youtube, and the title is “Who’s paying your sin debt”? If you watch it, please let me know with an email. I would appreciate it so much. Frank
